Many
different grades of Soarnol®
are available to meet today's needs. For barrier
cups and trays, EVOH has to be designed to withstand the
rigors of the thermoforming process used to produce these containers.
In the case of low temperature or deep draw thermoforming, specialty
Soarnol grades have been developed to achieve desired
properties. Each is designed for a specific use in polypropylene
(PP), polystyrene (PS), and polyethylene (PE) cup and tray
applications.
Grades of Soarnol® have
been, and continue to be, developed through appropriate
product design tailored to individual customer needs. Each grade
has
been designed to exhibit excellent
heat-resistant
(long-run)
processability, preventing burnt deposits and the like and
also
reducing the percentage of defective products.
